OstroVit Turmeric + Black Pepper + Ginger is a dietary supplement in tablets containing turmeric rhizome extract (Curcuma longa L.) standardized to 95% curcuminoids, ginger root extract (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) Standardized to 5% gingerols and black pepper fruit extract (Piper nigrum L.) standardized with 95% piperine. The dietary supplement is a combination of three synergistically complementary spices that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
- Curcumin is a natural chemical compound extracted from the spice known as Curcuma. The compound is used as a yellow-orange food dye and as a very strong antioxidant from the group of polyphenolic compounds exhibiting anti-inflammatory activity and the ability to increase the number of antioxidants produced by the body. Its bioavailability for our body improves the presence of piperine, which is why it is so important that both substances are taken together.
